The other day I had the opportunity to photograph Heidi and Alex and their two little girls, Hazel and Mazie at their home here in Dover, NH. After 4 weeks of these stay-at-home orders, I felt quite emotional seeing a family that typically I get to see whenever I want: at the gym, around town, for family sessions. It felt normal to be standing around chatting about their life and how the kids were holding up, how was business etc. And today, as I edited their final pic, and I’m actively ignoring my kids so I can have some sanity (don’t worry, they’re all upstairs dancing to Go Noodle and Just Dance as I write this) I realized it may be fun to put together a timeline of sorts of all the sessions we’ve done together over the years: engagement session at the Coast Guard Station in Newcastle in 2012, their incredible wedding day at what is now The Preserve in 2013, their first maternity session at their home while expecting Hazel, their second maternity/family session in Rye when pregnant with Mazie, their lifestyle newborn session with Mazie, a family session in fall 2018, and the most recent front steps portrait just the other day. There are about 2000 final, edited photos of this family from over the years – so many favorites! So hard to choose just a few, but if I included more than 1-2 from each session this could get really carried away (and the children would get too restless around here, ha!)

Heidi and Alex are both integral members of this community, Alex works for the city – a lot of you know him! And he and Heidi (and Kelly Kilgallon) own and operate Tap House Media – call them for all your website, marketing, videography needs! They are SO SO talented!!!
